Hallo!

It’s great that you found your way here. I’m Janina, and I come from Germany, the beautiful lower Rhine area in Northwest of Germany. In the spring of 2023, I moved to the USA, Long Island. What brought me here? Well, only love made me leave my beloved home country. Growing up on a flower farm made me fall in love with plants & flowers naturally. So I became a professional horticulturist.

Even though I love to travel and see new places I probably haven’t seen as much as some other people, but I still like to talk about my favorite places with you. Here on my blog, I’m not only want to share my passion about flowers and plants, I also want to convince you of the delights of good German cuisine – OMG, I miss German bread!

Since I moved to a different country and left everyone and everything I know behind, I appreciate so much more big and little things in life, especially everything that’s ties me to my roots. So hopefully I can be a little inspiration for own journey.
